It is important for us that you have an excellent tour, and all our private tours are custom-designed to fit your needs. If you have wishes for longer, shorter or simply other tours than the mentioned, ask if it’s something we can do and we probably can.
Start and end
The tours can start where you would like, typically at your hotel or cruiseship, or somewhere in central Copenhagen if your hotel is outside the city center. We also end where you would like. Please state where you wish the tour to start and end when you book, so we can take that into account when we plan the tour.
What’s included in the price
The stated price includes your guide, taxes and fees, and private bus, driver & insurance if it’s a private bus tour. On top of that, you will get two private, printed guides – one on suggestion on “What to do in Copenhagen after a tour with me”, and another one on recommended cafés, restaurant and bars on Vesterbro (the probably best area to go out in Copenhagen). On longer trips, your guide will invite you for Danish delicacies, and as time permits recommend you how to spend the rest of your time in Copenhagen/Denmark the best way.
What’s not included
Extras like lunch, drinks, snacks, tickets to sights (if any), etc, are not included. If the tour ends at Tivoli gardens, we can provide you with a free entrance for one person (and a little introduction to Tivoli).
Accesibility
The tours are accustomed to your needs, so wheel chairs, or people that prefer to walk at slow pace, are being taken into consideration. Please let us know when you book. Notice that the bus we prefer to use does not have a lift, but if we can lift the wheel chair by hand, it will fit in the bus. The tours are not specially designed for kids, but children that have an interest in learning and seeing new things are normally happy guests also.
Do we need local currency
No. Almost all things you can imagine – food, local transport, tickets etc – can be paid for by international credit cards, especially Master Card and Visa (American Express and Diner’s Club not always), so you don’t need to take out Danish kroner before a tour. If you should need local cash during the tour, your guide will be happy to pay the kroner, and be refunded in the corresponding amount in USD, Euro or some other current currency.
Languages
All tours are made in English, but can also be given in Danish. Fluent Spanish and German are also possible, but in that case please bear over with grammatical mistakes. For participants that don’t speak any of these languages, basic, supplementary explanations can be given in French or Portuguese (/Portuñol)
Pricing conditions
Tours are either paid beforehand in full, or with a deposit of 20% to paypal and the rest in cash at the start of the tour.
