New course on finding a room or an apartment in Copenhagen
One of the most pressing problems when coming to Copenhagen is finding a place to live!
Work & Life Denmark, together with Copenhagen Host Program, is offering a 2-hour course on useful things to know when you are looking for at room or apartment.
While you will not walk away with a housing contract after the course, it will give you some ideas about how things are done in Denmark and probably more options on how to find a place.
Since this is the first time we are offering this, there is a introduction price of 50 kr for this course.
The course is aimed at expats/foreigners who might not know the ins and outs of the Danish housing market.
Content includes:
- Options – from short and long rental of rooms, renting apartments, over communal living to buying an andelsbolig. (But not ejerbolig – International House offers a course in Buying a home in Denmark).
- Cultural aspects that are good to know when you would like to rent a room from Danes – hints on what to write in postings or emails.
- Useful ressources, from internet sites to places to check if you might be paying too much.
- Meeting other place-to-live hunters.
(We expect more courses coming up in the coming months).
Adress is International House, Gyldenløvesgade 11, ground floor, Copenhagen.
There is limited space. To secure your place, register and pay on Billetto.
